Public services facing millions of pounds worth of cuts in Wales

Finance minister Rebecca Evans has warned Wales faces “extraordinary” financial pressures due to a £900m shortfall in the budget.

Ethnic minorities, women, and disabled people remain under-represented in local politics, a Senedd inquiry concluded.

Concerns were raised about residency rules for election candidates, vacant seats, and powers to increase the number of ministers.
