Aberbargoed teen apologises for helicopter laser light

A 17-year-old who shone a laser light at a police helicopter has met its crew to apologise for putting their lives in danger.

The teenager, called Dennis, met the crew of the Eurocopter EC 135T2I, which is used by Gwent Police, at its RAF St Athan base.

Dennis apologised for shining a laser pen at the helicopter in July this year.

A missing 31-year-old Bargoed man has been found safe and well after going missing on Sunday October 18.

Phillip Watts was last seen at his home in Gilfach Street, Bargoed, at about 11am.

Gwent Police have not said where or how Mr Watts was found.
