Concern for missing Abertridwr man
A police appeal has gone out for information to find a missing man from the Caerphilly area.
Mark Alex Bradfield, 40, was reported missing on Monday November 2.
He was last seen on Monday morning at his home in Abertridwr.
Mr Bradfield is described as white and of large build. He is clean shaven and was last known to be wearing a light coloured t-shirt.
Caerphilly politicians oppose police station closure plans
The leader of Caerphilly County Borough Council has written to the Chief Constable of Gwent Police in opposition to plans to close some police stations and replace them with mobile units.
Councillor Lindsay Whittle has said he is concerned at plans to close a number of small stations and replace them with mobile stations.
Plaid Cymru claims it has seen an online list in police authority papers of stations in the area which could close.
