Bonanza of Easter activities

The county borough is host to a number of activities over Easter weekend.

Get creative with Easter crafts at the Winding House Museum, New Tredegar.

Explore Easter traditions and make Easter creations on Good Friday, April 18 and Easter Monday, April 21. Booking is essential at £1 on 01443 822666.

At Cwmcarn Forest Drive, create a beautiful Easter spring planter on Good Friday, April 18. Four sessions will run between 11am and 3.15pm and the event is suitable for children five and over

On Saturday April 19 walk along the Easter trail, which will take visitors on a journey of magical tales and fables. Suitable for children four to nine years, booking is essential for both events at a cost of £5 each.

An Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20 between 10am-4pm. A cost of £4 can be paid on arrival.

Other activities at Cwmcarn include helping to feed garden birds by making a bird feeder on April 23 and a pottery workshop on April 26. For information on all these events contact 01495 272001.

Have a go at making flower baskets for Easter at Parc Cwm Darran on Saturday April 19 from 11am All ages are welcome but booking is required on 01443 875557.

Or head to Llancaiach Fawr Manor over Easter weekend for an Easter Eggs-travaganza.

The Easter Bunny will be leading an Easter Egg Hunt between 11am – 2pm on Good Friday and there will be farm animals on site on Easter Monday April 21.
