An 84-year-old man who died after being hit by a car in Caerphilly earlier this month has been named.
Illtyd Morgan, from Caerphilly, was hit on Bedwas Road at around 12.20pm on Tuesday, April 6. He died at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours following the incident.
In a statement, Gwent Police has said Mr Morgan’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
