A Caerphilly-based IT services provider has outlined plans to recruit a further five members of staff – boosting its current head count of 12.

The company, based on Caerphilly Business Park, was founded in 2005 and provides support to a variety of businesses. In order to grow and improve its offering, it is creating a dedicated “customer portal”

The upgraded portal will provide clients with a real-time overview of how their systems are working, as well as hosting tutorials on cyber-security. Over the next 12 months the company plans to increase their service desk support by 50%.

Mike Parfitt, founder and CEO of Team Metalogic, said: “Our plans to increase our service desk team represents that we are both determined to contribute to the Welsh economy, and that we are dedicated to providing our clients with the best support possible.”

Team Metalogic was recognised in Wales’ Fast Growth 50 this year. The business was the only Welsh business recognised in the Top 50 Managed IT Firms in the UK for the last four years.
