Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden is coming to Bedwas Workmen’s Hall to perform and talk about her journey to the top.

Amy, who grew up in Caerphilly, has been on Strictly since 2017 – when she became the first Welsh professional dancer to compete on the BBC show.

Before starting on the show, Amy won the 2017 British National Latin Championship alongside her partner and fiance Ben Jones – who she will be marrying in July.

During her time on Strictly, Amy has partnered comedian Brian Conley, McFly frontman Tom Fletcher, Red Dwarf actor Danny John-Jules and Invictus Games medal-winner JJ Chalmers. In the 2019 edition of the show, she reached the final while partnering presenter Karim Zeroual.
