A thief who was released from prison early is now wanted back behind bars.
Steven Powell, 36, from Blackwood, was handed a two month and 25 day prison sentence at Newport Magistrate’s Court for theft, but was released on Friday, March 25.
However, Gwent Police has launched an appeal to find him after he breached the conditions of his relelase.
Gwent Police does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.
