All remaining Covid measures in Wales have are to be scrapped as of next week, First Minister Mark Drakeford has announced today.
Mr Drakeford revealed the outcome of the Welsh Government’s latest three-week Covid review at a press conference on Friday, May 27 – with all remaining measures to be lifted from Monday, May 30.
The Welsh Government has said the public health situation has continued to improve, with the number of Covid patients in hospital gradually falling – but reiterated the NHS is still experiencing pressures as a result of the pandemic.
