Police were called at around 6.20pm on Monday March 20

A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a reported group fight on Newbridge High Street.

In a statement, Gwent Police said: “We received a call regarding a disturbance in High Street, Newbridge, at around 6.20pm on Monday March 20, after a group of people were reportedly seen fighting.

“A 17-year-old boy from the Blaenau Gwent area was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”

Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 101, quoting log reference 2300090195.
