Coronavirus vaccine
Walk-in spring booster vaccines are available from June 13

Mass vaccination centres in the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board area are set to open for walk-ins to those eligible for their spring Covid booster vaccine.

This includes people aged 75 and above, as well as care home residents and anyone aged five and older who is immunosuppressed.

Walk-in appointments will be available from Tuesday June 13, with no prior booking needed.

The spring booster campaign got underway in April.

Everyone eligible for the vaccine has now been contacted for an appointment, the health board has said.

However, it has urged anyone who has not been contacted and believes they are eligible to call the booking centre on 0300 303 1373.

Currently, Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre is the only mass vaccination centre in Caerphilly County Borough.
