Gwent Police, Network Rail and Tata Steel are among a range of employers taking part in a jobs fair this week.

The fair is being held at Newbridge Memo on Friday June 23, between 9am and 12.30pm, with attendees being able to get advice on employment and apprenticeships.

The event is being held by hosted by Conservative Senedd Member Laura Anne Jones, who represents the South Wales East region, alongside former Conservative Senedd candidate for Islwyn, Gavin Chambers.

Ms Jones, who is also the shadow education minister in the Senedd, has said the event is open to everyone.

Other employers involved in the event include British Gas, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, the British Army and more.
