Woman hospitalised with “life-threatening” injuries following Risca collision

Gwent Police are appealing for information after a 91-year-old woman was taken to hospital following a collision in Risca.

The collision, which involved a white Audi A4 and a pedestrian, happened at around 10.30am on Saturday November 11, near the Texaco petrol station on Cromwell Road.

The 91-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment, and her injuries are thought to be life-threatening, Gwent Police has said.

The force said enquiries are still ongoing, and that any motorist driving on Cromwell Road between 10.15am and 10.45am on Saturday November 11, should get in touch.

Anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage can contact Gwent Police on 101 or through social media quoting log number 2300384522.
