The assault took place on Pontygwindy Road, near Home Bargains

Gwent Police is appealing for information after a 33-year-old woman was assaulted in a car park on Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Tuesday November 28 in a car park near Home Bargains, according to Gwent Police.

The woman was reportedly assaulted by two other women, one described as being aged in her 30s, the other in her 40s.

Police said the victim suffered minor injuries.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference number 2300405456.
