Angela Tamlin from Hair 16 said she hopes to do this every year
Hair 16 unisex hair salon is on Western Industrial Estate, Caerphilly

Caerphilly hairdresser Angela Tamlin will be offering free haircuts to the homeless from her salon on Western Industrial Estate.

Hair 16 will be accepting walk-in appointments from 11am until 6pm on Saturday December 16, something Ms Tamlin hopes to do every year from now on.

Speaking to Caerphilly Observer, she said: “I’ve spoken to the council and Caerphilly Miners’ Centre, who are spreading the word. I’ve also put it out there on social media.

“I just think it’s a nice thing to do for the community and I hope to see lots of people come along. We’ll also be offering a hot drink and a mince pie.”
