Gerwyn Price beat Connor Scutt in the second round
Gerwyn Price reached the semi-finals of the Bahrain Darts Masters

Markham’s Gerwyn Price was denied a place in the Bahrain Darts Masters final after defeat to teenage sensation Luke Littler on Friday January 19.

Having beaten newly-crowned world champion Luke Humphries 6-4 in the quarter-final stage – ending his 20-game unbeaten streak – Price came up against eventual-champion Littler, who was just two days shy of his 17th birthday.

However, the Iceman was beaten 7-3 by the teen, who went on to beat Michael van Gerwen 8-5 in the final later that night.

The World Series of Darts now heads to the Netherlands for the Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch on January 26 and January 27.
