Gerwyn Price suffered a quarter-final exit in Berlin

Gerwyn Price suffered a quarter-final exit as Premier League Darts returned for its second night of the year.

Price, from Markham, was beaten by Michael Smith for the second time in a week when the pair met in Berlin on Thursday February 8.

2023 world champion Smith narrowly beat Price 6-5, having also beaten Price in the opening week’s final in Cardiff on February 1.

Premier League Darts night two was eventually won by Michael van Gerwen, who beat Luke Littler in the final.

The competition returns on Thursday February 15 in Glasgow, with Price facing Littler in the opening round.

The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.

Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
