Caerphilly County Borough Council has confirmed when work will start on the Mill Race footbridge in Machen, and how long its expected to take.
Despite applying for a temporary order notice for up to six months, the council has said it expects the work to last between five and seven working days.
The work itself will involve replacing the wooden timber on the bridge.
Weather permitting, work is due to begin on Thursday February 22.
