Gerwyn Price suffered a quarter-final exit after defeat to eventual champion Michael van Gerwen on Premier League Darts night four.
Price, from Markham, was beaten 6-4 by the Dutchman in Newcastle on Thursday February 22.
Van Gerwen went on to beat Luke Littler and Nathan Aspinall to seal his third consecutive night win – further cementing his spot at the top of the table.
Price meanwhile has dropped to sixth place.
The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.
Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
