Caerphilly County Borough Council has approved plans which will see a Bargoed pub open a bed and breakfast on its upper floors.
Murray’s, on Upper High Street, applied for planning permission to change the use of the second floor into a B&B with four bedrooms back in January.
The plans show that each room will include a bathroom with a shower.
The council approved the proposals on February 22. No members of the public objected to the application.
The space was previously used as a boxing gym, according to planning documents.
