Drug dealer Nicholas Bradbeer has been jailed

An ‘organised criminal’ from Pontlottyn has been jailed for three years and nine months for his role in the supply of Class A drugs.

Nicholas Bradbeer, 31, of Board Street, Pontlottyn, was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday February 22.

Bradbeer pleaded guilty to five charges, including possession of criminal property, possession of cannabis resin, and being involved in the supply of cocaine.

He also pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and crack cocaine with intent to supply.

PC Rhys Jones, of Gwent Police, said: “Bradbeer was a trusted member of an organised crime group, with his role being to supply street level drugs in Rhymney.”

He continued: “The supply of illegal drugs puts an immeasurable strain on local communities.

“There is a real human cost to the trade of supplying drugs and our serious and organised crime and neighbourhood policing teams will continue to work tirelessly to protect the most vulnerable in our communities who are affected on a daily basis.”
