Gerwyn Price’s Premier League Darts play-off hopes suffered a major blow after he was beaten by Luke Littler on Night 13.
Price, from Markham, was beaten 6-3 in the first round in Liverpool, with Littler going on to win the night and move back to the top of the standings.
Price on the other hand has dropped back down to seventh – 12 points adrift from the play-off places.
Premier League Darts heads to Aberdeen for Night 14 on Thursday May 2, where Price will open up against reigning world champion Luke Humphries.
The Premier League consists of 16 mini-events held across different cities throughout the season, with each league night comprising quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final over the best of 11 legs.
Points will be awarded each night to form the league table, from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs, which will be held at the O2 in London on Thursday May 23.
