Labour backbencher Sarah Murphy has been appointed as the Welsh Government’s minister for social partnership.
Ms Murphy, who represents Bridgend, replaces the sacked Hannah Blythyn.
Ms Blythyn was dismissed from the cabinet by First Minister Vaughan Gething on Thursday May 16 over allegations she leaked phone messages to the press.
However, she denies the claims.
After Ms Murphy’s appointment, Mr Gething said: “Sarah will take forward our ongoing work with our valued social partners as well as providing leadership for our creative, hospitality, tourism and retail sectors.
“I warmly welcome Sarah to my talented and ambitious cabinet team.”
