Gwent Police is appealing to find Leigh Elston

Police are appealing to find a drug dealer wanted back in prison following his release.

Leigh Elston, 35, from the Penpedairheol area, was handed a five-year and nine-month prison sentence in July 2020 for drug possession with intent to supply

He has since been released from prison on licence. However, Gwent Police claims Elston has breached the conditions of his release – and has issued an appeal to find him.

The force does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.

Anyone with information on Elston’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2400177743.

Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
