Gerwyn Price will face either Gabriel Clemens or Dirk van Duijvenbode as he begins his European Darts Open defence this weekend.

The competition gets underway on Friday June 21 in Leverkusen, Germany, and concludes on Sunday June 23 – with 48 players battling it out for the £30,000 top prize.

Price, from Markham, will enter in the second round, where he will face the winner of Germany’s Clemens or Dutchman van Duijvenbode, who he he beat in last year’s final.
