Markham’s Gerwyn Price has landed down under for this weekend’s Australian Darts Masters.
Price will take on Australia’s Brenton Lloyd in the opening round in Wollongong, New South Wales, on Friday August 9.
The two-day competition comes to a close on Saturday August 10.
The opening round of the 16-player competition sees eight PDC stars take on eight Oceanic representatives, with world number one Luke Humphries pitted against Australian qualifier Joe Comito.
Elsewhere in the competition, 17-year-old Luke Littler plays veteran Rob Modra, while Rob Cross comes up against New Zealand’s Haupai Puha.
Meanwhile, two-time world champion Peter Wright will face Australian star Simon Whitlock, while fellow-Australian Damon Heta meets New Zealander John Hurring.
The remaining fixture will see former world champion Michael Smith play big stage debutant Stuart Coburn.
