Update: Gwent Police confirmed on Thursday November 8 that Preece has now been found and arrested

Police are appealing for information to find Aaron Preece, 29, who has been recalled to prison.

Preece, from New Tredegar, received a prison sentence of three years and four months for actual bodily harm in March 2023.

He had been released from prison on licence, but according to Gwent Police, he has since breached the conditions of his release – and is now wanted back in prison.

The force does not disclose what the licence conditions were, or what conditions have been broken.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can call Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log number 2400356287.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
