Gerwyn Price began his 2025 Premier League Darts campaign with a defeat in Belfast.

Price, from Markham, was beaten 6-4 by Chris Dobey in the Night One opener on Thursday February 6.

Following the defeat, Price said on Instagram: “Wow what a crowd. Gutted with the loss, started well but didn’t happen. fifteen more weeks.

“Thanks everyone for the amazing support.”

Dobey meanwhile went on to reach the final, where he was beaten by world number one Luke Humphries.

The Premier League continues on Thursday February 13 for Night Two in Glasgow, as Price takes on Nathan Aspinall at the quarter-final stage.
