Single and return bus tickets can now be bought on the Stagecoach app

Single and return bus tickets for Stagecoach services across south Wales can now be bought digitally.

The Stagecoach Bus app was recently updated with the new feature, meaning commuters can now buy tickets on their phone.

The app allows customers to buy their tickets in advance before they board, without the need for cash and paper tickets.

Martin Gibbon, managing director of Stagecoach South Wales, said: “We’re thrilled to extend our digital ticket offering. Giving our customers even more choice for how to pay for their travel is just another way we’re making it easier to travel by bus.”

Digital singles and returns will be valid for 90 minutes from activation. Customers can also buy one day, seven-day and 28-day tickets through the app.
