The Great British Bake Off is being brought to the stage by a Newbridge-based amateur dramatics group.

The recently-formed Coda Wales, which is based at Newbridge Memo, will be performing their stage adaption of the hit cooking show this September.

Performances will take place at the Memo on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th September 2025, complete with a live band, cake sales, and more.

Directed by Jason Venables and Caroline Dickenson, the show follows eight amateur bakers as they compete in a fictional Bake Off tent, all set to a ‘catchy and feel-good score’.

“We’re really excited to be bringing this show to Wales, and we can’t wait to share it with our local communities,” the directors said. “Please come along and support this amazing cast and crew – it’s going to be a treat.”

Visit Newbridge Memo’s website to buy tickets, which are available from £11.
