Gwent Police want to speak to this woman after an alleged fraud

Gwent Police is appealing for help to find a woman after money was stolen from a post office.

At around 11.30am on Saturday May 10, the unknown person reportedly used “sleight of hand and deception methods” to take money from the post office within the Tesco Express store in Castle View, Caerphilly.

The money was reportedly not noticed as missing until cashing up at the end of the day.

The woman pictured was near the post office section of the store at the time the alleged fraud took place, and may have information that can help officers with their enquiries, the force has said.

Anyone who recognises this woman, or has any information, can contact Gwent Police by calling 101, or messaging the force through social media, quoting log number 2500147149.

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
