A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a car crash in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Gwent Police was called at around 3am on August 12 after a car had overturned on the A472 between Ystrad Mynach and Maesycwmmer.

The road was closed for a few hours but has since reopened.

The man, from the Tredegar area, has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Gwent Police confirmed nobody was seriously injured.
