The road between the Pwllypant roundabout and Bedwas Bridge roundabout has reopened following a collision.
The incident, which involved four cars, happened at around 11.15am on Wednesday August 27.
Gwent Police officers attended along with the Welsh Ambulance Service and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
“Minor injuries” were reported following the crash, Gwent Police confirmed.
The road was closed for a few hours following the crash.
