The 2025 Tour of Britain gets underway on Tuesday September 2, with the event set to pass through Caerphilly County Borough this weekend.

The tour begins in Woodbridge, Suffolk, before moving across the UK each day before finishing in south Wales on Sunday September 7.

Two years ago, the event drew to a close in Caerphilly town centre, with the victors awarded their medals at a stage set up in the Twyn car park.

This year, the final stage sees cyclists set off from Newport, passing through towns and villages across Caerphilly County Borough before reaching the finish line at Cardiff’s Bute Park.

Rolling road closures will be in place when Tour of Britain passes through borough
