Two people taken to hospital after Caerphilly Mountain car crash

The A469 was closed between Caerphilly Mountain and Thornhill following the crash

Two people have been taken to hospital following a car crash on Caerphilly Mountain.

The incident, which involved one car, happened along the A469 near Thornhill at around 10.15am on Tuesday September 2.

The injuries of the two people, who were the driver and passenger of the car respectively, are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, Gwent Police confirmed.

The road was closed for a short period following the crash, but has since reopened.
