Residents looking for help with job applications, CVs or general employment advice will soon be able to access regular, free support in Caerphilly.

Caerphilly Employment Support has announced it will be holding a monthly drop-in session every second Tuesday of the month, running from 10am until midday at Caerphilly Miners’ Centre.

The sessions are designed to be informal and welcoming, offering people the chance to speak one-to-one with employment advisers, ask questions and receive guidance on a range of work-related issues. Support will be available for job searches, application forms, CV writing and other employability needs.

There is no need to book an appointment, with organisers encouraging people to simply turn up for a coffee and a chat.

The sessions aim to make advice more accessible, providing a relaxed space where residents can get practical support and confidence with their next steps into work.

The first session is on Tuesday January 13, with further sessions running on the second Tuesday of each month thereafter.

For more information, residents can attend the session in person at Caerphilly Miners’ Centre, or contact the Caerphilly Employment Support on communityregen@caerphilly.gov.uk or 01443 864227.
