Residents are being invited to share their views on public rights of way in Caerphilly County Borough, as plans progress to re-establish the Caerphilly Local Access forum.

The borough has around 500 miles, or 800km, of public rights of way – from multi-use routes to scenic footpaths.

The Local Access Forum (LAF) will bring together a range of voices to help inform how the routes are maintained, improved and made more accessible for everyone.

The forum will support the council’s Right of Way Improvement Plan, ensuring it reflects the needs of local communities.

The council has said it is keen to hear from under-represented groups, including people who use mobility aids or have experience of disability or limited mobility, so they can ensure access for everyone.

Visit the Caerphilly Conversation website, or contact rightsofway@caerphilly.gov.uk or 01443 866737 for more information.
