Nearly 6,000 people visited Ystrad Mynach when the town held its food, drink, and music festival last month.
A variety of stalls selling food and drink, as well as children’s activities, funfair rides, crazy golf, animal displays, craft workshops and more were set up in the town centre on Saturday May 28.
There was also street theatre performances and singers on what was the busiest day in the town so far this year.
The event was organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council, with funding from Gelligaer Community Council and the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
It follows on from The Big Welsh Festival in Blackwood, and Bargoed Spring Fair – also organised by Caerphilly Council. These, combined with the event in Ystrad Mynach, have attracted a combined 11,000 visitors.
The next event is Caerphilly Food and Drink Festival, which is being held on Saturday April 18.
