Update: Gwent Police confirmed on Friday May 29 that Webley has since been arrested

A criminal has been recalled to prison after allegedly breaching the conditions of his release.

Conor Webley, 32, from the Bargoed area, was serving a sentence for assault causing actual bodily harm.

He was released from prison on licence, but Gwent Police has launched an appeal to find him following his recall.

Anyone with information on Webley’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting 2600144202. Alternativelty, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
