Caerphilly Art Society’s annual exhibition opened to a packed audience this week, showcasing the work of its talented members.

The exhibition, at the Twyn Community Centre, was opened by Caerphilly town mayor Mike Prew on Tuesday May 26, and runs until Saturday May 30.

It is open each day from 10am to 4pm.

More than 100 artworks are on display, with many available to buy.

Guest judge Artist Alison Fennell praised the high standard of entries on display. Competition winners announced on the evening were Aga Szczuka in first place, Chris O’Shea in second, and Rob Webster in third, with Rosemary O’Leary receiving ‘highly commended’.
