Volunteers of all ages gathered at Caerphilly Miners Centre on Friday morning for a community litter pick.
The clean-up, on May 29, covered the area from the miners centre to Castle View Lake and back.
A wide range of ages took part, from younger residents to older members of the community, all working together to make a visible difference to the area.
This was the third litter pick event arranged by the centre, with the aim of bringing people together, strengthening community links, and helping the environment.
Volunteers spent several hours clearing discarded waste from pathways, grassy areas and lakeside spots frequently used by walkers and families.
The litter-picking equipment was provided by Virginia Park Youth Centre. Organisers Amie Lock and Laura Morris-Lloyd thanked the youth centre for its support, as well as everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event.
They added that regular community litter picks not only help keep the area clean and welcoming, but also encourage residents to work together and build stronger connections within the community.
