Pride Caerffili returns for its fourth year this weekend

Pride Caerffili returns to Caerphilly town centre tomorrow for a day-long celebration of the contributions made by LGBTQ+ people in our society.

The family-friendly event, organized by Caerphilly County Borough Council, will run from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday July 4.

The celebrations will begin at 12pm with the annual Pride parade. Those taking part will gather at St Martin’s School before marching down through the town centre, looping around the Twyn Car Park area where the main festivities are based.

A road closure will be in place along Twyn Road throughout the day to accommodate the festival site at Twyn Car Park.

Following the parade, live entertainment will run from 1pm to 6pm on the main entertainment stage.

Food, drink, and craft stalls, support groups, and health representatives will also line the site, including teams from the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and Fast Track Cymru.

The festivities will continue into the evening at the Ffos Caerffili, which is hosting an immersive audio experience from 1pm to 4pm, followed by an official after-party featuring a DJ set from Katy Harriz between 8pm and 10pm.
