A “disused” place of worship in Rhymney could be converted into homes, new plans submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council show.
The applicant, Zac Bowdich, has proposed extending and transforming Emmanuel Baptist Church, at Thomas Fields, into two new residential properties.
Planning documents state the chapel has fallen out of use and is currently vacant.
Each proposed home would have a lounge, kitchen, dining room and toilet on the ground floor, and three bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor.
The application is currently out for consultation, and can be viewed on the Caerphilly County Borough Council website under reference 26/0437/COU.
