All the Nissan Jukes reportedly stolen across Caerphilly County Borough last week have now been recovered, Gwent Police confirmed.
Police launched an investigation after 13 Nissan Jukes went missing across Caerphilly County Borough in a single 24-hour period between Thursday September 24 and Friday September 25.
The cars were recovered alongside a Kia Niro and a Nissan Navara.
Inspector Richard Tovey, of Gwent Police said: “All the cars that were reported as stolen were recovered and our investigation is continuing to identify those responsible for these thefts.
“We will continue with our patrols across the borough following these reports, so if you have any concerns or questions then please take the time to speak to our officers.”
Officers believe thieves were targeting a particular spec of Juke manufactured since 2010.
The local crime wave reflects a wider national trend. Recent DVLA data revealed the Nissan Juke, launched in 2010, is the UK’s most stolen car in 2026, taking the top spot with 197 recorded thefts in the first six months of the year.
Police are advising owners of both keyed and keyless models to review their vehicle security and check the force’s website for crime prevention advice.
“Anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity is asked to contact us via our regular channels as any and all information from our communities is greatly appreciated,” added Insp Tovey.
Anyone who spots suspicious behaviour, or has information regarding the recent thefts, is asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 or via direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2600313969.
