Swansea expansion for Caerphilly’s Thomas, Carroll Group

Financial firm Thomas, Carroll Group, has expanded with a new office.

The risk management company, which is based in Caerphilly town, has opened a new centre at Tawe Business Village in Swansea.

Former Wales rugby international Robert Jones is the company’s regional director.

He said: “We have been present in Swansea since 2009, and we have now decided it was time to invest significantly in strengthening our South West Wales operations, recruiting local brokers and financial advisers, culminating in the official opening of our new headquarters in Swansea.

“We now have grown a fully-fledged group office in Swansea, reflecting all facets of our group-wide operations, from Chartered commercial and personal insurance, to health and safety and employment law, Chartered independent financial advice and property risk services.”

John Moore, Chairman of Thomas Carroll Group, said: “As a fiercely independent, wholly Welsh Group, we are proud to be flying the flag for Wales in competition with UK operators.

“With Welsh Government assistance we are investing in creating high potential new graduate jobs, building on our reputation for sustainable profitable growth.”
