Organisers of the Big Cheese weekend 2011 are looking for entries to this year’s Great Cheese Race.
Children and adults are being encouraged to take part in the fun run around the grounds of Caerphilly Castle carrying a lump of cheese.
Every year teams of four line up to take part in the race which is part of the opening celebrations.
This year the race is taking place at 6pm on Friday July 29.
The race is a great way to raise sponsorship for your school, club, society or special cause. Last year organisers had a record number of entries.
