Cwmcarn Forest campsite has been awarded a four-star listing from tourist body Visit Wales.

The award follows two years of work to upgrade and revamp the campsite – including the installation of new ‘glamping pods’.

The site’s amenity block has been modernised and three new hardstandings for tourers and motorhomes have been built as well as seven all weather camping pitches.

Works have also been completed on a number of projects around Cwmcarn Forest to improve access for visitors to the site.

For more information on Cwmcarn Forest, including walks, mountain biking and events, visit www.cwmcarnforest.co.uk or contact the Visitor Centre on 01495 272001.
