Commuters coming home from Cardiff are facing delays tonight after a man was hit by a train at Queen Street station this afternoon.
Arriva Trains Wales has said delays of up to 40 minutes are expected through the station until 6.30pm.
A 40-year-old man from Cardiff, was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. The incident happened at 3.10pm and involved a Merthyr to Barry Island train.
The line was re-opened at 4pm.
