Organisers of the Michael Jackson tribute concert, being held in Cardiff this weekend, have said the Black Eyed Peas will not be appearing due to “unavoidable circumstances”.
The group had announced it was to play at the concert last month.
Chris Hunt, the chief executive officer of Global Live Events, said: “It is with regret that we announce the removal of Black Eyed Peas from the Michael Forever bill, but I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists.”
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, The Jackson Brothers, 3T, Leona Lewis, JLS, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke, Alien Ant Farm, Craig David and Diversity will be appearing at the October 8 concert.
Beyonce is also making a special contribution on video.
The concert will raise funds for Aids Project Los Angeles and two other charities, which have yet to be announced.
Arriva Trains Wales has announced additional and longer train services for the night of the concert.
The concert will start at the Millennium Stadium at 6pm and train services are expected to be busy.
A queuing system will be in place at Cardiff Central station after the concert and Queen Street station will be closed after 10.15pm. Passengers are advised to make their way to the station as soon as possible after the concert ends.
Simon Turton, Special Events Manager for Arriva Trains Wales said: “Additional services have been provided to ensure the transportation of passengers to and from the event. We wish fans a pleasant evening.”
