Draig Business Services Group has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Dave Nichols as its Operations Manager.

Mr Nichols, who lives in Caerphilly, will be responsible for forming and developing strategic partnerships for the group as well as using his experience to further the fast growing company’s cross selling initiatives.

With more than 30 years of experience in business, he will work closely with the group’s Managing Director Ross Porter to help develop the company’s existing relationships and expand the portfolio of clients.

Mr Nichols said: “Draig is a forward thinking and proactive company that recognises that you can grow organically by having good products and providing first class customer service.

“I have always felt that these are important ingredients of success for most businesses and I am excited at the prospect of joining the dynamic group.

“I hope to bring new ideas to the company and put the contacts and experience developed in my career to good use. I have now worked from both sides of the recruitment desk and I have first-hand knowledge of what it is like to manage recruitment agencies being the client and to have managed temporary labour contracts with over a hundred temps on site.”

Since it was established in 1999 by husband-and-wife team Ross and Claire Porter, Draig has grown significantly from its original recruitment roots. Having twice been ranked in the Fast Growth 50 index, the group now encompasses recruitment, training, graphic design, printing, signage and web development.

Mr Porter, said: “I am delighted to welcome Dave to the team. He is a very experienced and well respected business professional that will undoubtedly help us achieve our development plans for the business. I am confident he will play a positive role in helping us to drive the business forward and his appointment is a clear indication of our commitment to our ambitious growth plans.”

The appointment comes three months after the Draig Group opened its doors of its brand new headquarters at Caerphilly Business Park, Caerphilly.
